چکیده
The mandibular first molar (MFM) commonly presents two roots with canals in the mesial root and one or distal root. However, morphological variations have been described different populations, which must be considered when planning endodontic treatment. aim of this study was to analyze internal external morphology MFM a Chilean sub-population using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images. An vivo cross-sectional, descriptive, observational conducted CBCT exams from 351 right left MFM. data were analyzed by descriptive statistics Chi- Square test for categorical variables, Fisherâs exact test, Mann-Whitney U non-parametric independent samples, Wilcoxon related samples. Of total sample, 1 observed 2.27 % cases, 2 93.73 %, 3 4 %. In relation number canals, 71.23 showed 16.81 9.69 2.28 canal. all studied 2.3 had C-shaped anatomy. terms morphology, Zhangâs classification, variant 12.82 9.67 6 8 conclusion, is variable sub-population, these before during therapy. proved an effective tool tooth morphology.
